My Love, My Pain

The blood gushes from the many wounds that covered my body,
but the one wound that hurts the most is the one that you
my lover, my heart, my life dealt to me

The others were merely of the flesh and they would have healed in time
but the one that you dealt that pierced my very soul
this one wouldn't be able to heal with all the time in the world

My love you have done to me what no other man could ever do,
you have dealt my killing blow

Even with your sword protruding from my body,
that sword that is stained with my blood and sweat

But i still can't help but to love you,
even as i watch you walk away from me,
i do not cry

But then for you to walk into her arms and kiss her as you once did me,
I knew my life was over for without you there is nothing left for me.
